Henry Williams died at 2:50 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the home of his son, Dr. George T. Williams, 801 S. Geen Street after an illness of 3 weeks, following by several hours the death of his brother, W. Thomas Williams, who passed away at Browns Valley. He was born in Shelby County, KY Oct 14, 1836, the son of Elder Garland Williams and Harriet Mitchell Williams. On Nov 27, 1863 he was married to Nancy J. Gott. Mr. Williams had been living with his son here for the past 3 yeares. He was a member of the Baptist Church. He is survived by two sons, Dr. George T. William and Charles Williams, both living at 801 S. Green; a sister, Mrs. J.H. Hinkle of SHelbyville, KY; a brother, J.S. Williams of Versailes, KY and a number of nephews and nieces. A double funeral for the two brothers will be held from the Browns Valley Baptist Church at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. Burial will be made at Indian Creek Cemetery. -- kbz
